New Energy. Fresh Perspective.

Leadership you will actually see. Showing up, listening and leading.

Meet Brad Wardlaw

Lifelong Resident. Small Business Owner. Dedicated to District 2.

As a lifelong resident of Hamilton County, I’ve seen our community grow and change. I grew up in Hixson, walked the halls of Red Bank High School and earned my degrees in Business Administration and Human Resource Management from UTC. My roots here aren't just deep; it’s where I choose to raise my family.

A Professional Foundation

For over 20 years, I have worked in real estate-property managing, investing and home improvement. My career has been about more than just houses; it’s about understanding the value of our land, the necessity of smart growth, and the importance of a budget that actually works.

With my background, I understand how to bring people together, solve complex problems, and ensure that our county government operates with the efficiency and transparency that taxpayers deserve.

Family & Faith

My wife, Brooke, and I are raising our two children, Carter and Camilla, right here in District 2. Brooke grew up on Signal Mountain with great memories from the Town Pool and playing at the Pumpkin Patch Playground! She now owns a small business, an endeavor that reflects her commitment to hard work, growth, and serving others as well! We attend Dallas Bay Church, where we find the strength and values that guide our family.

I believe that a leader should be a servant first. That’s why I’ve dedicated my time to the things that make our community stronger:

  • Investing in our Youth: Coaching soccer at North River Soccer Association and the Lower School team at Chattanooga Christian School (CCS).

  • Empowering the Next Generation: Volunteering with Junior Achievement at CCS to teach students the basics of business and the economy.

  • Supporting our Neighbors: Serving on the committee for the Northside Neighborhood House Not So Silent Auction, helping provide essential support to our neighbors in need.

Why I’m Running for County Commission

I’m not a career politician. I’m a businessman and a father who wants to ensure Hamilton County remains a place where everyone can afford to live, work, and thrive. My priorities are simple:

  1. Smart Growth: Using my 20+ years of real estate experience to ensure development doesn't outpace our infrastructure.

  2. Fiscal Accountability: Managing your tax dollars with full transparency.

  3. Community Safety & Schools: Ensuring our first responders and educators have the resources they need to keep District 2 the best place to live in Tennessee.

  4. Commitment to listen: Every citizen should feel that they are seen, heard, valued and appreciated by their elected leaders. Your voice matters and I want to work to use those voices to make strategic plans for our community.
